About Me
Anna Lucia is a current Fashion Design and Merchandising student at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She was raised in the Effingham, IL area and has an agricultural background, living on a farm and is from 8th generational farmers. Anna Lucia: The Label was established in 2024 through the Effingham County CEO program and is her design label. Inspired by her great grandmother and middle namesake "Lucia" her label specializes in "Clothing That Tells a Story" with a focus on repurposing textiles into meaningful stylish pieces through her Quilt Coats and other repurposed garments.
