Fashion Fairytale

This dress was inspired by many prom dresses from the mid-80's, featuring ruffles and tiered tulle skirts. This Project features a bustier-style bodice with exposed boning, pleated tulle, underwire, ruffle straps, and a corset-style back. The Skirt is a half-circle skirt with a 4-tiered tulle layer. The dress was shown at the 2024 Fayette County 4-H fair, winning grand champion of clothing and textiles, and at the Illinois 4-H state fair, where it was awarded Champion.
